Walk in gratitude

Italian boots

Thinking of my Balanced Body family about to embark on Pilates on Tour in Venice, walking in gratitude with you in spirit in my boots from Italy.

Having moved EHS into a church, it’s only fitting……If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, ‘thank you,’ that would suffice.” ~ Meister Eckhart

Lots to be thankful for, great evening of gratitude with the Korgs ,Thanksgiving with the FOC and a chance to get out of Dodge.  Blessed.

Now our turn to give back and show some gratitude; A Sunday Social full of gratitude this Sunday at the EHS church of Pilates!  See our Facebook page for more info or hit me up if you need the address.

We wanted to turn our holiday party into an afternoon of gratitude to the community that helped us transition so quickly after the fire.  We could not have done it without all of you and we couldn’t be more thankful.  I always say it takes a village and not only did the village show up, but the whole damn army.

So today, I walk in gratitude, thankful for my troubles that have truly become blessings.

“Everything you want is on the other side of fear”

Walk In Gratitude

This has been an exceptionally difficult week. I feel as though I have been encountering negativity at almost every turn.

I am astonished at the number of people who complain and focus on all their troubles and woes and expect that life will change.

“What we focus on, we empower and enlarge. Good multiplies when focused upon. Negativity multiplies when focused upon. The choice is ours: Which do we want more of?” – Julia Cameron, Blessings

YOU get to decide. If you want to be happy, CHOOSE to walk in gratitude.

 Walk In It…

I am thankful for all that I am.

I am wonderful just the way I am right now.

I am thankful that I can make a difference.
I know that helping others also strengthens me.

I am thankful for friends and family.
I am blessed in knowing I am not alone and that I have
people who care about me and share my life
People who have taught me love, patience, strength
and so much more

I am thankful for every new day and every new challenge.
Every new day is a chance to make a difference
to experience joy, and to grow .

I am thankful for the beauty that surrounds me every day.
For sunny skies and thunderstorms; majestic trees and wildflowers
I am in awe at the magic of nature in the world around us.
I am moved by kindness, smiles, hugs, and laughter

I am thankful for my tears, in both sorrow and joy.
Because they mean I care.

I am thankful for all the struggles I have endured and overcome.
Everything happens for a reason. I am proud that I am strong
and that I have grown in character and resilience.

I am thankful for all my mistakes.
I have learned many valuable lessons.

There is truly SO much more to be thankful for.

No matter how bad things seem, see the little things that matter, and be thankful.

I believe that when you can become thankful for all your troubles, they can become your blessings.
